10 min - The British ran the Halifax Citadel site as a fortress until 1906. Guests can drive up to the top of the hill and take some photos of the Old Town Clock and the downtown Halifax area from the high ground.
- 2Sir Sandford Fleming Park (The Dingle)
10 min - This is a beautiful 95-acre park. Its memorial tower was built in 1908 to commemorate 150 years of democracy. It also has beautiful trails along the ocean.
- 3Halifax Public Gardens
15 min - Guests can take a leisurely stroll through this downtown garden. It is a picturesque Victorian garden that is 154 years in the making.
- 4Fairview Lawn Cemetery
10 min - Guests can visit the final resting place of over 120 victims of the 1912 Titanic disaster. Among the victims was the unknown child, who through DNA testing has now been identified.
- 5Peggy's Cove
1 hr - Granite rocks are white-washed into the ocean, left from the Ice Age 10,000 years ago. Artists love to paint here because of the strong contrasts among the ocean, rocks and lighthouse.

What a fantastic day out, I booked 4 hours as I had a flight to catch, but it was the best 4 hours I spent in a long time, Stewarts Knowledge and flexibility was great, covered a lot in our half day. Would recommend him to anyone, his connections to the west coast of Scotland and Loch Bosidale made for very interesting conversation
If you want to go to heaven but you don’t want to die, go to Halifax and take a ride with BLT Limousine
Emailed Stewart and received a prompt response. We flew in for dinner for my 60th birthday. He picked us up at airport and the tour commenced. Stewart showed us Halifax and surrounding area as only a local could, we didn’t miss a thing. Celtic music was played in the background as we toured, it was beautiful. We were dropped off at our hotel; Harbourfront Marriott Bonvoy and picked up the next morning and off to the airport. Stewart you are a consummate professional What a wonderful experience, we highly recommend you!

Stewart was amazing! Picked us up from the cruise ship terminal right on time. Dressed professionally. The car was clean; smelled nice. He's demeanor was warm, welcoming and friendly all rolled into one. We toured Halifax and Peggy’s Cove. He shared facts about its history and the buildings. He was flexible with our needs- stopped for lunch and pictures along the way. 100% recommend Stewart for all your tour needs when visiting Halifax.

Great Private Tour of Halifax
Peggy’s Cove, Gardens and Tour of Halifax by highly knowledgeable guide! Had a beautiful day touring Halifax with our driver and tour guide Stuart. Halifax is a beautiful city and Peggy’s Cove is a quaint little village with lovely shops. We walked through the beautiful gardens, heard the Victory cannons at noon and took a lovely drive to the quaint and beautiful Peggy’s Cove. Stuart was Super, professional and timely ! Nice 5 hour tour overall !
